Note that phonetically the name sounds the same.

This wiki site was named ConchShell in an obtuse allusion to the Lord of the Flies.

If you read it, you probably wouldn't need to ask. It has been years since my last reading, but as I recall, the conch shell was blown by Ralph (or was is Jack the antagonist) to summon his followers for a meeting. --fostermarkd 07:38, 14 June 2007 (PDT)
