Blackberry 8300

Recently (8/21/2007) obtained a Blackberry 8300 (Curve) and seeing how desktop/laptop integration with Linux (my laptop is currently running Ubuntu Feisty).

Hooking up the USB cable, the output from lsusb shows.

Bus 003 Device 002: ID 0fca:0006 Research In Motion, Ltd.

Well Feisty was nice enough to automount the storage for me, and a USB "Disk" icon appears on my desktop.

Let's see how digital music files are support. I drop an MP3 and OGG into BlackBerry/music/

Go to Media and the MP3 appears, the OGG does not.

Well, the sound quality is really good, anyway.
