About me

I am a Unix System Administrator and a programmer. Currently I develop desktop and Windows Mobile Application in C# and a website in PHP. I tinker with C programming.

I hope to contribute some of my unix knowledge to this site. I've contributed a tutorial for building ffmpeg. I'm currently working on one for lame.

• PlaneDisaster.NET A GPLed JetSQL (Ms Access) and SQLite database editor. Available on sourceforge

Projects I Contribute To

• UltraDefrag A GPLed disk defragmenter for windows. Unique in that it allows you to defrag at boot up time, similar to the chkdsk startup mode.
• XML Copy Editor A GPLed XML editor for windows and unix that uses wxWidgets.
• SharpDevelop A .NET IDE for windows. I've contributed some of the project templates to the upcoming 2.1 Release. Really light weight but quite functional.

Projects I am a fan of

• Open Watcom C/C++ and Fortran compilers
• 7-zip Windows compression program that supports 7 formats including the new LZMA format.

• http://www.synesis.com.au/index.html I recently discovered this. Looks like some good Windows utilities. I will be trying them out in the near future.
